Mystery of the Gefilte Fish
Once a year on the 14th day of Nisan on the Jewish calendar, some ten thousand gefiltes swim to a secluded pond just off the Sea of Galilee in Israel. These little gefites occupy the pond for only eight days, then disappear for an entire year.
No one has ever been able to find out exactly where they come from,, or where they go… we just accept it as another Passover miracle!
Happy Passover to all who are celebrating virtual family Seders! Next year in Jerusalem… Next year ANYWHERE!
